SAVE OUR PLAY DECKS

In March 2018 Hackney Council wrote to the residents of Lincoln Court to advise them of proposals to build a quantity of new homes at Lincoln Court, which would replace the garages and play decks next to the three existing residential blocks.

The residents of the Lincoln Court are strongly opposed to these proposals, which would mean the loss of most of the play space and community open space, the loss of daylight and views and car parking, and which would lead to the breakup and fragmentation of our community.

You can find out more about this on the Save Our Play Decks campaign page here.

FIRE SAFETY CAMPAIGN

Following the tragic events at Grenfell a review was undertaken by Cladtech, on behalf of Hackney Council, of all the council’s tall buildings in the borough. As a result of this review Hackney has decided to reclad a total of four buildings. The three blocks at Lincoln Court represent three of the four buildings.

Issues regarding fire safety at Lincoln Court can be found on the campaign page here.
